Safety vinyl flooring

Safety vinyl is a hard-wearing sheet floor with built-in slip resistance. It is the go-to choice for areas where floors can get wet or contaminated — wards, corridors, bathrooms, kitchens and other busy commercial spaces.

We supply and install safety flooring from ranges such as Polysafe and Altro, and similar products, matched to how the space will be used.

  • Slip-resistant sheet flooring for wet and busy areas
  • Welded seams for a continuous, easy-clean surface
  • Can be finished with coved or set-in skirting
  • Suitable for healthcare and commercial settings

Product names are used to describe the ranges we install.

LVT flooring

LVT — luxury vinyl tile — is a resilient floor laid as individual tiles and planks. It is available in a wide range of wood and stone effects, giving the look of natural materials with a surface that is hard-wearing and easy to keep clean.

We supply and install LVT for commercial interiors such as offices, education, healthcare and retail spaces, with the subfloor properly prepared first so the finished floor sits flat and wears well.

Hardwood & Granwood flooring

Hardwood flooring is made from real wood, giving a space natural warmth, colour and character. It is often chosen for receptions, offices, communal areas and homes where a natural, high-quality finish is wanted.

We supply and install hardwood flooring for commercial and residential projects, with the subfloor properly prepared first so the finished floor sits flat and wears well. We also sand and seal existing hardwood and Granwood floors.

Hygienic wall cladding

Hygienic wall cladding is a tough PVC sheet fixed over walls to create a smooth, seamless and wipe-clean surface. It resists moisture and impact and is much easier to keep clean than painted or tiled walls, with no grout lines to harbour dirt.

It is widely used in clinical areas, washrooms, kitchens and food preparation spaces, and pairs naturally with safety vinyl and coved skirting for a fully sealed room finish.

Carpet

Carpet brings comfort, warmth underfoot and a softer, quieter feel to a space. In commercial buildings it is often used in offices, meeting rooms, corridors and communal or reception areas.

We supply and fit carpet for commercial projects, with the subfloor properly prepared first so the finished carpet sits flat and wears evenly.

Sports flooring

Sports flooring is designed for halls, gyms and activity spaces. The right sports floor gives suitable grip and cushioning for the activity, stands up to heavy use and is easy to keep clean.

We supply and install sports flooring as part of our commercial flooring work, matched to how the space will be used.

Epoxy flooring

Epoxy flooring is a resin coating applied over a prepared concrete or screed base. It cures to a seamless, joint-free surface that is hard-wearing and easy to clean.

It is often used in areas such as plant rooms, stores, workshops, kitchens and back-of-house spaces. We supply and apply epoxy floor coatings matched to how the area will be used, with the base properly prepared first.

Polyurethane (PU) flooring

Polyurethane (PU) flooring is a resin floor system, applied either as a coating or as a thicker PU screed. It forms a seamless, tough surface that copes well with moisture, cleaning and heavy daily use.

It is commonly chosen for wet areas, commercial kitchens, food preparation spaces and other heavy-use areas. We supply and install PU flooring matched to the conditions of the space, with the base properly prepared first.

Latex screeds & subfloor preparation

Every floor finish is only as good as what is underneath it. Before any flooring goes down, the subfloor needs to be clean, sound, dry and level.

We prepare subfloors and apply latex screeds — a self-smoothing levelling compound — to give a flat, smooth surface. This helps the new floor look right, bond properly and last longer, without bumps or ridges showing through.

Set-in & coved skirting

With coved skirting, the flooring is turned up the wall using a support strip to form a smooth curved edge instead of a sharp corner. Set-in skirting is a related detail where the floor finish is set into a skirting profile. Either way, the join between floor and wall is sealed.

The result is a floor edge with no gaps or tight corners where dirt and bacteria can build up — which is why it is so common in healthcare and other hygiene-critical areas.

  • Floor finish carried up the wall for a sealed edge
  • No dirt-trapping corners or gaps
  • Quicker, easier cleaning
  • Ideal with safety vinyl and wall cladding

Stair nosings

Stair nosings are fitted to the front edge of each step. They give extra grip where people are most likely to slip, make the edge of each step easier to see, and protect the stair edge from wear and damage.

We fit stair nosings as part of a stair flooring installation, so the finish on the treads, risers and edges all works together.
